Getting There ✈️🚙

The easiest way to reach Kidepo Valley National Park is by scheduled or chartered flight from Entebbe International Airport (EBB) or Kajjansi Airstrip, landing at Apoka Airstrip inside the park.

By road, the most direct route via Gulu to Lokumoit Gate takes about 10 hours; break the journey at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Gulu or Kitgum. Alternative routes through Moroto and the Karamoja subregion are now considered safe and offer rewarding community-based tourism.
